Improve Insights & Make Better Decisions With VTS: Monthly Visual Thinking Strategies Intro (April)

Does this resonate with you?

I'm worried about staying relevant with AI taking the world by storm.

I need to ask better questions to get deeper insights and more actionable feedback.

I'm trying to make better, data-driven, evidence-based decisions.

I want to be a leader who fosters inclusivity, creativity, and connection.

VTS can help

Join us for an engaging session introducing Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) and the impact it can have on the skills that make you an effective thinker, doer, and maker, no matter what your role, no matter what industry, no matter what stage in your career. And the great news? These are skills that even the latest in AI can't come close to replicating.

But what is it?

VTS is a method of facilitating open-ended discussions about complex, ambiguous materials. In plain English… it's a way of having a meaningful conversation about something interesting (like art, poetry, design, even code) where there is no right or wrong answer. You learn from each other as the group stays engaged in inquiry, and you strengthen your brain's abilities.

How can it help me?

VTS has been practiced and researched over the last 35 years and has been proven to improve a broad range of skills, including creative and critical thinking, data-driven decision-making, inclusive communication, and facilitative leadership. And it can also help you identify and mitigate those biases that we all have. It's also a great way to build a stronger, more collaborative team. And it's a lot of fun.

What will we be doing?

In these monthly 90-minute sessions, you'll experience VTS first-hand as you discuss thought-provoking artwork, connect with a diverse group of people, and learn how to put the tenets of VTS to good use in different contexts. Don't worry; you don't need to know anything about art; just be yourself and be open to trying something new. NOTE: This session is interactive, so please be prepared to turn off your multitasking and turn on your mic and camera.

What feedback have past participants given?

  • "This has changed my way of looking at the world forever."

  • "You've made me see that I don't listen as well as I thought, and I'll be a better leader for it."

  • "This felt both relaxing and energizing, almost like group meditation."

  • "You made me appreciate how differently we see things but also how similar we all are."

  • "I didn't know what to expect, but this was really fun!"

  • "This should be required training for all employees, not just in design, but for my entire company."

These happen each month... can I come more than once?

Yes! Each month, we'll look at a different piece of art, writing, or design, and the conversation will take on a life of its own based on the people attending.
